International School of Big Data Analytics

The International School of Big Data Analytics opens at Dubna State University on 1 March 2019. The school trains specialists in the field of advanced information technologies. Admission is granted on a competitive basis to students of the Institute of Systems Analysis and Management, as well as to students in "Physics" and "Personal Electronics".

On the Day of Russian Science, Vladimir Vasilievich Korenkov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Director of the Laboratory of Information Technologies of JINR, Head of the Department of Distributed information computation systems of the Institute of Systems Analysis and Management, delivered a presentation on the International IT School to students of Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Programs.

The purpose of the School is to train IT specialists for computing in megaprojects (NICA, PIC, LHC, FAIR, SKA and others), big data analytics (Data Science), digital economy and other promising areas.

The International IT School has been created in collaboration with JINR, an organization working on unique world-class scientific projects. The educational programs of the International IT School have been designed with consideration for the recruitment requirements of JINR and other organizations of the high-tech sector. These organizations also assist in implementation of the educational programs.
